This weekend I attended a private party in the clubhouse room in The Crescent (over where the pool tables and big screen TV is). I was slouched down in one of the over stuffed couches with my feet on the table conversing with a friend and enjoying a glass of wine.
It wasn't long before an employee of the Crescent came over and said "This isn't your home, would you please remove your feet from the table". Other party goers who witnessed this could not believe what they had just heard.
I'm sorry, but I don't care if this is my home or not. Residents of The Crescent pay WAY to much money to live here (in some cases 50% more than comparable apartment complexes in the Baltimore area) and they don't like to be treated like children. I will put my feet up on the coffee table if I want to.
