This last Tuesday was once again movie night, featuring the comedy "Knocked Up".
The prior movie night was canceled as a total of one (or was it two) people showed up. I believe this was because of the violent nature of the movie (I don't remember what the movie was, does anyone remember?).
If we had a professional events coordinator (like the one that is advertised and we are paying for), he or she would probably have known that violent movies don't play well as social events. People want an escape from the hectic work week with maybe a light hearted comedy (like "Knocked Up").
So I hope that they now "get it" and next time around we might see more people show up for movie night. Or better yet, hire a professional events planner (again, like the one you advertised).
