After talking with the people at last night's Community sponsored social event I get the feeling that it was was an astounding success. We had a great mix of residents, both newcomers and "old timers". Personally I met a lot of new people and had a wonderful time.
Brian Comotto, the "one man band" was great. He played not only acoustic guitar, but electric keyboard as well in a performance lasting about 3 hours. I'd love to give Brian some more business, so please give him a call if you are planing a party for work or other social event.

I'd like to close by saying that the main reason we put on this event was because if we want social events here at The Crescent, we have to do them ourselves. This is because of the lack of a Social Director by The Crescent, even thought it clearly states so on their web site and in printed brochures (see this post titled False Advertising).
