Like the famed swallows of the mission in San Juan Capistrano do each spring, so the towels are returning to the fitness center. Not all of them mind you, but as you can see from the photo below, taken yesterday, 10 towels have made their way back. Hopefully the others will follow.
It took a lot of arm-twisting and involved management's confrontational response, on what should have been a trivial issue to resolve, but there appears to be progress! I am curious, if management's assertion were true that residents had taken all of the towels to their apartments, how did 10 towels reappear? Anyway, it happened, and I am cautiously pleased with the results.

ahhhhh. what a sight! Now that they have figured out how to order "restock", maybe they can fix the movie theater .....somehow I think that's hopeless , as I was told that James the maintenance man can't figure out how to install the new bulb they've had for weeks......
The movie theater has been fixed (I used it tonight). It's actually even better than before. I beleive that they replaced the whole projector, not just a new bulb.
